After school soccer!

Today, school was quite slack once again. Anyways...we had our chemistry spa. For mathematics, we had revision for our upcoming tests. Brushed up on Binomial Theorem :) .
After RECESS, we had english then our Biology SPA which is counted in our marks for this term. After Biology SPA, we had chinese but our teacher Mr Almon Yao was not present. The best part was there was no relief teacher and most of them either did not do the work set for us, going home, play soccer or were busy doing other things in class.

After school, I went to play soccer with Daryl, Jinhe, Nicholas Chang, Marcus, David, Victor, Damien, Johnathan on the school field. We played a small area due to the small size of people. It was quite fun. I scored two goals on one side and swoped sides when we were 3-1 up. Switching sides, the other side soon caught up and even overtook. The scoreline became 6-3 soon, goals from Jinhe and Johnathan. Victor brought the scoreline up to 6-4. At the end, when they were playing around after some of them left, I managed to steal the ball and "score" once again haha.

Went to take MRT home just to accompany Marcus because he lived in Yishun and could not take a bus from school. Well...that sums up today...bye

Dental Appointment

Yesterday, I went for my Dental appointment after school. As usual...it took 30mins to reach there. Soon, it was my turn to see the doctor and he tightened the elastics used even more...He also said that the next visit in one month's time, they would be coming off and they will do scan..lol... After about 2 years...finally going to be taken out lol....

Changed them to grey in colour...looks more silverish though...Went back to school later for band practice. By that time, they were cleaning up the band room...cause it's quite dirty and messy...

Flag Selling day/Collection Donations for SHF

Yesterday, I went to Somerset MRT station to do flag selling to raise funds for the Singapore Heart Foundation. We were to be there at 12.30pm and collect donations until 4.30pm.

I went with Chee yong and Samuel and we went around Somerset...Orchard....Somerset...Dhoby Ghaut and Chinatown. It was overall exhausting. Haha..imagine walking and talking for 4hours non-stop... Well...at the end of the day...was feeling abit pissed and tired cause we heard that if they felt it was not enough and up to their standard..they would not give us the C.I.P points...-_-.... I mean...the effort is there...AND all they can think about is MONEY...are they trying to get FREE labour!? I don't know and I don't think I care...if they do not give us our C.I.P points...I do not think I will ever help out such an organisation again...regardless of C.I.P points...

Well...on the Brighter side...I went for Youth Service after that and was feeling more Cheerful =D... The speaker spoke of renewing our minds...I felt that the sermon was very meaningful...
After the service, we went for dinner...By then...my legs were starting to feel pain...(mainly from the 4hrs of walking...) When we had reached Marina Square...it was unbearable already...
Some of us had to go to the FoodCourt while the others ate at Carl's Junior as there were not enough seats. After dinner...went home with Qiaolin, Andy and Nicholas...
We took the bus 162. I passed a Garfield Hairband to Nicholas for Vanessa...and she seems to like it haha... =D...

Sunday 2nd of July!

Yay! lol...that day, we played Basketball at Ngee Ann Polytechnic again after Lunch. That day, one of the EE contacts Jeremy went for the Service. Haha...now our church has 3 Jeremies =D.
To start off, I was not playing very well as usual...cause my shots were pretty straight but kept hitting the inside of the basket...so, it did not go in. Yea...so was feeling pretty kinda low...
Then, during a match that i was sitting out, I went to practise shooting...and Joshua came over and helped me to shoot better. Thanks Man! =D After he corrected the way I was shooting and giving tips, it was time to play basketball...So, putting what he said into action...I was able to shoot and score much better...yay...lol
We even came from behind to win! But of course I have to thank the others too, they gave chances. =D It was enjoyable and I don't really care that they said I was the MVP of the day...most importantly was that we had fun and without a team...I am nothing and to start off...I myself am not very good...and they are better than me too! So I just want to thank them for the great time I had and lets have more fun occasions like this..=D...
Now...how about Soccer? XD

CHS Homecoming 2006!

It was on the 1st of July. That day, I went to school early to help Nick Kang to carry the equipments we needed along with Junhao, Jason, Andy. After carrying the stuff to school, I remembered that i did not print the Cafe Menu and thus, went back home to print out. However, the printer printed it not very nice and in the end..wasted alot of ink. When i reached home, I made new and bigger posters to ensure that everyone could see what our stall was selling. After making the new posters, I quickly went back to school as our ordered Dry Ice was coming soon at 8.30 to around 9am.
There was a dunking pool station as well...haha...they dunked the teachers for quite a large sum of money...for exm: $800. Me and Guotai left at 11.30am to go for Mathematics Tuition. We ate lunch at J8 first before taking the MRT there. We revised through Loci and Binomial Theorem. After the tuition, I went to Guotai's house and played Hero's 3 haha... Not a bad game...
Was quite sad as I missed the Fire Conference and there was no Youth service that night...
Hope those guys that went had FUN...:D Yup...thats about what we did for Homecoming...bye

Phebe's Surprise Birthday Party

Phebe's surprise birthday party was on Sunday, 25th June. I went to Church in the morning for Gear at 9am to prepare for the lesson at 9.30am. In ended about 10am and service started at 10.30am. After Service, we went to eat lunch and then after lunch, we went to Ngee Ann Polytechnic to play basketball. We took a bus and reached there after half an hour or so.
It was overall good fun. We left at 5pm+ and made our way to Phebe's house. Me, Josiah, Joshua and Ziyang met Elysia, Esther, Ivy and Doreena on the way at the MRT station.
We took a bus there and ran to the house. We reached there just in time as Phebe accompanied by her arrived home. We gave Phebe a good surprise and she was tearing haha...
The food that was prepared had a layout of Japanese and Chinese food. Some of us watched the replay of how Argentina won Mexico 2-1 with a SUPERB shot in Extra time. After eating dinner, they played some games...
The first game was doing 6 gestures with the word MILK in it, but the two people cannot do the same thing. After this, they had one where the two teams were blindfolded and tried to make it to the other side of the room with obstacles on the way as their team members gave directions. The penalty of the Losing side was a new one for me. They were asked to kiss the Ring of the "King" and then cruelly showed them the ring on another person's toe. Some could not believe that they had just kissed a toe and some just laughed it off. At the end of the Game, most of us knew a new trick and it was back to just chatting and eating once again.
We soon had to leave as it was a school day the next day while it was her holiday as she studies in Perth and had came back to Singapore for her Holiday. To sum up the day, it was a great day of Adrenaline and Endorphins and the Happiness of Making one's day.
