Update

The Light Moment
15th December: Alot of preparation was made for the putting up of this event.
Drama people had put in so much effort over the months and their hard work was showing prominently through the many rehearsals they had arranged. There were some parts which were hilarious while yet familiar scenes where everyday normal things may happen to people. (Getting too caught up in the carnal world and getting too blinded by fame and power and riches--neglecting our true blue friends while trying to be people we are not--mixing with the wrong company)

There was even a Gatsby scene. Funny...but not forgetting...the MAIN highlight of the play. The message of how the main character got duped into signing a deal with SATAN while realising that people should accept him for who he is...take it or leave it. He accepted JESUS and the scene where JESUS appeared was just too nice...lol...wrestle him back from the deadly claws of SATAN.

Then it was the speaker who was up next...sharing about his past and how he overcame his shadowy past and came to the light. It wasn't as smooth as we had planned but...still...GOD is the one who does what he will and pleases...so all glory to him.

Helped Liji set up his camera and lights for the photoshoot just outside the church. Found out that his lighting umbrella costs $138. o.O (NOT FOR USAGE IN RAIN) :P

Quite a number of new comers came and we mingled during dinner. Rachel was back too. She came with Wan Er and I think they had a nice time catching up with the others. After the event, I went with Qiaolin, Rachel, AikLeng and WanEr to Macdonalds at Lucky Plaza to have a late supper...(sort of). Went home via MRT with Qiaolin afterwards....(after Qiaolin, AikLeng and I went to walk around Orchad awhile more to digest the food)

Children's CAMP
20th-21th December:
Games, Food and Lessons on Obedience and Gratefulness are the overall summary of this camp. There were skits and cheers too.

We ate at YukiYaki on the 1st night. Its like a steamboat and make ur own icecream restaurant. Quite cool...though could have been better. Watched Transformers in church after that. Good show...good graphics...though the storyline should have been better. Played abit of TaiDi before we turned in. Samuel had to leave at 5.30am as he had to book into Army camp.

Water Game was fun. Denzal cried during the game as he is pretty young and the water bomb just went SPLAT in his face. Loads of spills and trills...hahaha.

FOOD was just a splendid array. It ranged from rice, to chicken to ice cream to brownies. Coupled with some soon kueh, poon kueh and ribena juice.

Overall...a very good camp.
Brought back memories of how we were when we were younger.

Thats all for now. Bye

Testing123

All's been going good. Dad's discharged from hospital for some weeks now. He's still taking soft food, eg. fish porridge, some cans of baby food (banana and pear flavour), mango pudding. We're also planning to get rid of the old piano we have at home. It was used by my sister when she was much younger...(12 yrs old?) yea...that was a LONG time ago..

Cause my dad bought 3 new display cabinets for his collectible antiques that he has acquired over the years...so yea...we need SPACE. haha....
Think I hear house cleaning coming up...besides, its the holidays anyways...
plenty of time....so no excuse there.

Went bowling, watched enchanted the movie and played some games of DOTA at lan with friends these past few days/weeks. It's been great spending time with my dad eating breakfast in the morning too. Reminds me of how free I used to be when we were younger...carefree life with no worries. Or maybe...just homework...haha.

It's not easy growing up....decisions made are final and consequences are there to bear. But I would not regret the great 4 yrs I've spent in my secondary school. It's been fun and enjoyable. Goodbyes are also hard to say...but at least we can still keep in touch through msn...friendster...facebook...etc

As another new year draws neigh...
New decisions lie before me and we have come to a crossroad again. But as for now...I'm just enjoying whatever time I have left in this short-lived holiday. Of course there is also christmas cheer...but somehow...its not as spectacular as how we used to think of it to be...(reminisces..)

But as we grow older...we somehow get new and fresh insights into tackling the ho-hums of life and to take it on the chin day by day. Yes, the days that lie ahead are far and unpredictable but with God and friends...to guide and help you...the journey is never lonely and someone always has ur back.

Hmm...notice that how as we grow older...we also have this tendency to talk alot more than when we were young? Thats cause we have exposure to new things such as news and happenings of the world that somehow...it influences u to just elaborate more...

Snow...
haha...would be nice to actually get to experience snow....(instead of snow city)
Was disappointed with the chicago trip last year...though it was still a very good experience.
It didnt SNOW! No white christmas...:(
haha....
A chilly getaway sounds nice right about now...:)

Alright...thats enough for now...
Bye. :)
