Basketball!

Today, met Zenn and Nicholas at Sembawang MRT to play basketball near Nic's house. Had alot of FUN!!! Improved on my shots...and made some nice ones in some of the games we played. We won most of them...and lost a few...but its ok...We were abit tired as well haha...

Went to Nic's house later. He played around with Glory...haha...
We drank alot of water and ate maggi mee. Bathed there...but just changed my shirt. After that, we went to use the computer to play Warcraft 3's campaigns. At around 4+, we stopped and went to watch some televison programme. We watched with Nic's mom, some Princess show...(not sure of the name...) on VCD.

After that, I had to go home as my family celebrating my birthday in advance which is on the 26th of October. Nic was also tired i guess...cause i think he wanted to sleep haha.

Haha...its nice to see that me and Nic have become close friends since the Church Camp. We do alot of stuff together...haha...
Recently went to cut hair at the same time with him...haha... Yea....
Learn things from each other lah haha...

Rachel's Birthday + Cell + Results!

First of all, Rachel's birthday was on the 20th of October! Bought her the Water dispenser with the penguin toy from Action City. Delivered it to her house on Thursday. We went to her house for her Birthday Pool cum BBQ party. Her school friends and other friends were there as well... Qiaolin, Van, Zenn, Aikleng and Ziyao were there.
Was ok lah...haha...some of them swam in the pool with their clothes on..o.o haha...
When it was time to cut the cake...everyone squeezed into the lil function room...and apparently...not all were in the photo....-_- haha....
Left after the cutting of the cake and took a bus back home with Qiaolin.

Secondly, we had cell just yesterday. It was good! Uncle James joined us at the closing part to share something with us...and he told us the prodigal son story...in his own version...
Ministered to me lah...cause indeed we all fail at some point in our lives...but its when we fail...we appreciate and realise the goodness of GOD and when we turn back to him...we are born again...! GOD is just so wonderful :) After cell...they were having another BBQ...and we ate a lil cause we had already eaten before cell...
Uncle James and his wife sent me and Qiaolin to a bus stop near the house to take 851 back home...haha....Good day...good day...and Tuesday was a holiday! :D

Thirdly, Gotten back my term 4 results and roughly know my overall results.
Overall results:5 passes and 3 fails.
Passed: English, Chinese, Biology, Music, Combined humanities
Failed: Double maths and Chemistry
But I'm quite happy lah..improved over the year... :)
But must work harder!!! O levels may seem far...but prevention is better than cure haha...

Updates2!

Last Friday, we were given a day off from school...We went as a sec3 cohort to J8 to watch a movie organised by the school called "An Inconvenient Truth". Felt that what it said was very true...people are absent mindedly polluting the Earth...causing global warming and increasing the thickness of the ozone layer and concentration of CO2 in the Earth. Recently, there has been haze and it just came back...

Well...after that, the sec3 band members met up to discuss about which school we wanted to have an exchange with...and the band camp..etc etc etc...

Went to Iggy's house after that with Yunsong and Yuesheng. Played street soccer with them near Iggy's house. Quite fun...took a bus to a location quite near my house and walked home...


On Saturday...had my School's Music Practical Test. Went Super Early in the Morning to practise and it started at 11+ .... Finished around 12....Talked to Yuesheng and Aloysius before we made our way to J8 where me and Yuesheng took the MRT while Aloy went his seperate way...Took MRT to church as we had EE that day! :)

Arrived a lil after 1pm. Worshipped GOD...prepared our stuff for EE...went to our various designations and spread the word! But it was too lil time as we only managed to share to a handful about our wonderful GOD...Went back to church and cosolidated all our contacts' data.
Had to follow up and chat with them...but i think that guy i shared to gave me a fake email? or he just doesn't use the computer very often...i dunno....


Sunday...met Daren first at YCK MRT to pass him the clarinet pieces book...for the Music Auditions...then managed to catch the MRT within that one minute. Church activity as usual...had CE...then went for lunch with Qiaolin, Grace, Nick, Samuel, Lionel and Esther at Great World City. After lunch...Qiaolin, Lionel and Samuel went back first while me and nick accompanied Grace and Esther to look around/walk around. Went back to church and met Zhixiang in person for the 1st time!!! haha... :D WAh! the band was damn loud man...think cause of new sound systems...could feel the vibrations!! Esther and Grace were studying...preparing for A's.

Went with Nick after that to Sembawang to have a haircut...cause hair was getting messy...
Not bad lah the haircut...haha....but all the lil hairs...haha...and the gel was an issue hahaha!


For this whole week...we gonna have 2hrs of chinese practice in the morning! "what the..." was the reaction of almost everyone haha....then...we had maths lecture on sets. On monday, we saw a movie on what happened at the border between North and South Koreans. On reaching the climax...we had to cut the movie short due to the fact that Sec2s had to check their scripts...damn....waited 1 hr before band started as we were dismissed after the movie.

Ahhh....so many of them all ponned Band...!!! Frustrating....and Agonizing lah....Teaching=not easy... Following=very easy! That's the hard truth...sigh...
Anyways...we gotta chiong liao.....SYF coming soon..and we also got a mini concert at the school's auditorium...(but people have to buy the tix for $5 which in my opinion is TOO EXPENSIVE!) why? cause even i think i wouldn't go if i weren't in Band.....


Friday got Rachel's birthday! She's having a BBQ....im going for it....and the others too....

Yea...thats about it all....
Feeling lugubrious now and then...dunno why....sigh....
but going to church always cheers me up....Love you GOD and I wanna thank you for friends...for without them....life would not be so interesting....

Updates!

YAY! :D! Nicholas went to his first ever water baptism and was baptised himself on the 30th September. Weather was quite wet...drizzling...but stopped later. Ambience was alright...lively hokkien people from the hokkien ministry! (Put us to shame...:( haha) But it's all good...

Sang in 3 languages! haha...Hokkien, Chinese and English! I like singing...dunno why....haha...but it and Music are my loves! FUN FUN FUN :P

Felt happy for Van's family cause her brother and Mother got baptised that day...:) ( Reaping the rewards you sow! haha...but most of credit goes to GOD )

They ordered pizza and some of us brought our own food for dinner. I wanted to stay for the whole thing...but a'las, i had a date with my relative's wedding...DAMN...but o well...
Went to church on Sunday...Nick and Van didn't come cause they went to visit their ancestors...(hmm...i wonder...if i ever visited or have ancestors! haha)

Anyways...my EOYs started last Wednesday...and I've 5 more papers to go...SIAN!!!
But i'm looking forward to the Thursday...where relief and joy replaces this feeling of grief and lugubriousness.

Haze was BAD for the past few days...SUPER GLAD that today...was very clear in the skies...
It sure made my day...:D:D:D:D:D! Was tired and slept till 10am...and was a lil late for Church...
CE was back after two weeks of break cause of the Encourager's briefing and Children's day celebration...

Adora has been bugging me with some funny question yesterday and today..haha....but i seriously do not know the answer to that one...O well....yea...that sums it all....o ya...one more thing....for those who are taking their O's or A's or EOYs as well...GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS! :) Bye...
